Easy Spicy Gisadong Baguio Beans

I normally cook Baguio beans with pork, but today I experimented a little bit and ditched it. And since I like spicy food, I decided to add a Korean ingredient which is Gochugang or pepper paste.

You will need the following:

250g Baguio Beans

3 cloves minced garlic

1 pc small onion, sliced

1 small can tuna in vegetable oil (can be substituted with 2 pcs smoked fish/ tinapa)

4tbsp Canola oil

Pinch of salt to taste

1/2 tbsp Pepper paste

3tbsp soy sauce

pinch of Salt

1/2 tsp pepper

4 pcs dried shiitake mushroom

2 pcs medium-sized tomatoes

1tsp brown sesame seeds

1.) Pre-soak shiitake mushroom in boiled water to soften before cutting.Cut veggies while pre-heating the pan.

2.) Mix soy sauce, sesame seeds, pepper paste, pinch of salt and pepper together.

3.) In the pan, sauté onion and garlic in canola oil for about 2 minutes. Next put tomatoes and sauté for about 5 minutes.

3.) Add beans and season with a pinch or salt and black pepper.

4.) Add tuna and soy mix.

5.) Sauté for about 10-15 minutes.
